Visio Introduction

Visio Professional is a graphics application. It is used to create a wide variety of drawings, from a simple Block Diagram through Flow Charts and Organisation Charts right through to Maps, Mechanical and Process Engineering and Network diagrams.

The application is based on templates related to the category of drawing; each template category includes relevant stencils which are pulled on to the drawing page building up the diagram.

Amethyst’s Visio course demonstrates different ways of building Organisation Charts and Flow Charts; creating a Map, Block Diagram and Floor Plan. Throughout this one-day course, delegates will learn different methods of manipulating and accurately positioning shapes; the multitude of ways of duplicating, and many other features including order, alignment and distribution of shapes.
