Microsoft Excel Training Courses

Excel Introduction

These courses demonstrate the core of how Excel works as a calculation tool. They are designed not only for beginners, but also for those who may have used Excel and have learned it by “word of mouth” and have large gaps in their knowledge.

Although described as “Introduction”, the courses provide a comprehensive overview of Excel, its terminology and how to get the very best out of the application. There will be hints and tips which are simple yet save time, and delegates will learn how to analyse and correct errors. Various ways of creating formulae are explored; explanations of relative and absolute cell referencing and, in particular a firm understanding of the principles behind how calculations are performed is developed. Elementary charting is also introduced as well as worksheet manipulation.
