Excel 2003 Introduction

This course provides a comprehensive overview of Excel and its terminology. There will be hints and tips which are guaranteed to impress. Basic formulae and functions will be studied and delegates will learn how to analyse error messages. The difference between relative and absolute cell referencing and an understanding of the principles behind how calculations are performed will be examined. Elementary charting will also be introduced.
This course is for absolute beginners or those who have never created a workbook or a formula from scratch.

Excel 2003 Intermediate
In this course more hints and tips are provided, as are more functions, particularly the IF Function. Delegates will explore how to use data from multiple sources; how to get the best out of an Excel database and looking in depth at the many chart options available. Printing techniques and how to attach a workbook to an e-mail message concludes the Intermediate course.
The Intermediate course deals with some of the more complex functions and features of Excel. It is a natural progression from the Introduction course.

Excel 2003 Advanced

The Advanced course is all about getting Excel to do the work. Delegates will learn how create their own templates and protect vital data. They will understand how to emphasise data by using Conditional Formatting. The functions covered will be IF, AND and OR, together with some others. Data analysis and Scenarios together with Macros and Pivot Tables are all explored. Finally, creating, saving and applying Custom Charts completes the Excel suite of courses.
This course is for those who are using Excel on a regular basis and need a better understanding of the features and functions.
