Amethyst’s Adobe Acrobat course deals, not only with converting files to .pdf (Portable Document Format) but also demonstrates the wider use of the application.

This one-day course illustrates different methods of creating a .pdf file and the advantages and disadvantages of the .pdf file format. Importantly, why files can only be modified by the author not by the recipient is discussed and, linked to this is how to review a received .pdf. Navigation aids, such as Bookmarks, Links and Articles are created as are Collections of files. How to make the document more secure by creating a digital signature or certificate is also explored.
