Pauline Taylor Microsoft Office Specialist

My name is Pauline Taylor, I am a Microsoft Office Specialist and I have been a trainer for over five years. Amethyst Training was launched in August 2006, since when Amethyst has become well established and is now the preferred training provider to many private and public sector organisations across the UK. Much of Amethyst’s work is repeat business and many new customers have come along as a direct result of recommendation.

Although core to the business is training Office applications, I am keen to continue developing the company by offering consultancy and running workshops, for instance in areas such as customer service and communication skills.

I have the advantage that I come from a user background having spent over 25 years working as a PA in organisations ranging from solicitors’ practices, finance, engineering, telecoms and IT and, as such, quickly learned to adapt to the structure and use of different computer systems. This has provided me, not only with a firm background into computer applications, but a sound understanding of everyday working practices.

My primary objective is to make learning an enjoyable and stress-free experience; encouraging enthusiasm and inspiring confidence, not only in those individuals who are new to working with computers, but also those with experience but who want to improve and develop their IT skills. Questions are welcomed and delegates actively participate during the training sessions which are delivered in a friendly and relaxed manner.
